Not sure what to say?

Karl and I worked offshore together for about 4 years on the same crew. We would spend many nights laughing around about random things to make the time past. He was a very wise and smart fellow. I learned many things from Karl while working offshore. We kinda lost touch for a few years when I moved on to another company, but we talked again a few months before his passing about meeting up to go sking in Vermont, because we always talked about taking a ski trip with our families together. ...

Laura, my heart is broken for you and your family. Please know you are in my prayers and in my heart.

Karl and I were in the same homeroom class throughout high school. I was deeply saddened to hear of his recent and unexpected passing. Although we lost touch after high school, I have only the fondest memories of him --always smiling, cheerful, positive, energetic, and kind. He was such a genuinely nice person. I wish I had the words to take away the pain his family and friends are surely experiencing, and I hope they find solace in the legacy he has left.

It is a great loss for Henry and I grieve for him. Losing a grown son is not a simple matter. I can understand Henry, how deep your grief is and I pray God Almighty to give you the strength to bear this loss and to rest the soul of Karl in peace.

Laura and family My sincere condolences on the passing of Karl. I had the pleasure of working as his CPA for the past few years and he truly was the kind of guy that instantly made a lasting impression on me. He truly loved his family and would enjoy our Houston Astro talks. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family and may his memories will be a lasting legacy. Sincerely David Penchansky

Our heart is deeply grieved over your loss. Praying for God's grace and comfort during this difficult time.

Thoughts and prayers to all of those who knew and loved Karl. There is a new angel in heaven to watch over you all

The Hart Family

Karl lives on in the hearts, memories and prayers of the many who were graced by his gentle and unique heart, humor, and soul. I wish his beloved family enduring strength and peaceful solace.

I am so sorry to Laura and Karl's family for their loss. This was a very shocking message to get from one of Karl's classmates this week. So many good stories of road trips from Mass Maritime and weekends. Karl was the one who got me into surfing (became an addiction of a sort where I worked around it). Haven't seen Karl since college, but his memory will still live on.
