Not sure what to say?

He was such a good addition to our model airplane hobby. Sorry he is gone. thermals!

So many happy memories Karl. You and Betty dancing the Polka, you were quite the team. Never forget you, God bless and keep you. Betty's sister.

As a junior member of the Grand Rapids Model Airplane Club in the early 60's, I found Karl to be inspiring and helpful. He always took a special interest in the junior members, a group known unofficially as "Karl's Kid's". I will always have the fondest memories of those days....

My sympathy to the Spielmaker Family. I remember Karl. He was a classmate at St. Francis Xavier School.

Uncle Karl was always so full of joy. Always ready to make a joke or tell a story. He leaves a hole in my heart.

Karl and I at a field in Marne

Karl was a good friend and fellow model airplane builder. He was my mentor when I started the hobby years ago. He will be missed by many. And yes, I will also miss his sense of humor.

60 years. WOW. Love you so much Aunt Betty. You are so special to me. Uncle Karl holds so many incredible memories for me and for our entire family. His joy and laughter has filled all of his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and greats through all of our lives. Dancing is another memory I will forever have. Love Always, Mary

Uncle karl....always full of luster and life. Always teasing us and making us laugh..it is sad to see you go but you can now join the gang and have some more laughs..your niece Terri

Uncle Karl was always the jokester, remembering him as constantly smiling and trying to make others do the same.
