I was very saddened to hear that Chef passed away. I had the pleasure of working with him at the Schnitzelbank for many years. One of my fondest memories is of when I hadn't worked there very long, and I questioned something to do with the dinner I was serving. He came around the steam table and went nose to nose with me and said, "I am the chef, and the chef is ALWAYS right!" Boy. I never questioned him again.
