Both Karl and Sunny Stingl played a huge role in my development as a skier and even future hockey player. Sunny taught me to figure skate at Highland Ice Arena where I play hockey now. Karl's skiing fundamentals have stayed with me for more than 40 years. I will always have fond memories of the Stingl family and I am glad I could be a part of it during my childhood.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. For me the name Stingl always brings skiing, ice skating and fun to mind.

IN FOND MEMORY OF KARL STINGL
Coach Karl's sweet standard expression to anything humorous happening,*By golly, ho,ho,ho...!* still lingers in my ears.
