Not sure what to say?

My ex-husband Bob and I were close friends with Karl for many years. Bob worked with Karl at Arrow lumber and also at Spenard lumber. Karl performed our wedding ceremony and 'married' us out at sea in PWS (via a special license) aboard our houseboat/lodge, the "Seaweed". We have had many good times with him. In particular, Karl was a regular guest at our fishing lodge in Prince William Sound for many years. He would come out almost every weekend in his boat, the "Sea Sea Seven", and...

Karl: I wish I would have been able to keep in contact with you more often during the last several years. I will always remember the "adventures" we went out on in the old neighborhood. See you on the other side old buddy; You will be missed. In grace you leave us a great memory.
Your friend,

Karl. Good sailing to you. You have always been a friend. You will be missed by many.

I am sadden by the Death of a very dear Freind. Karl and I met in High School and have been friends every since. My thoughts and prayers to his family. I will miss seeing him when I travel to Alaska. God Bless, I know he is at peace now and with Our Heavenly Father.

our thoughts and prayers go out to you.I have not been in contact for a couple years but when we went with him on his boat in prince william sound we called him boat potatoes karl.we flew into deadmans lake hunting and fishing our pilot was then Rick Halford before he became Sen. He stayed up all night partying with me when my youngest son was born and that was 33 years ago. He also did not make it to work that next day and he was the manager. His hockey skills came in very handy one night...

In school I met Karl, and I thought that he was one guy that had his head on straight. He has been blessed with a beautiful family. My thoughts and prayer's go out to each and everyone of them.

Uncle Karl was awesome. He taught me how to ice skate backwards on the lake at the homestead, he made me eat snails and always made the best food ( I love his fish!!!). He always had a twinkle in his eyes, (seriously) think Santa but with a little more devious side. He was always interested in what I was doing and asked me how things were in the biz everytime we talked. He was a great Uncle and I will miss him dearly. Mick and I are so thankful that we were able to spend time up at home...

Karl has been a friend and customer (NAC) for many years. I will always remember his patience, his kindness, and his forgiveness when we least deserved it.
My prayers are for God's comfort for the family and my hope is that we will see that smile again.

Karl, may you rest in peace. Kristi, Erika, Mary, Keith, our prayers are with you during this grievous time, and always.
Love, Bill and Gail Westfall
