I'm proud to say that Karla Guererri was my friend for 48 years. I met Karla at Albany State University in 1978. We were roommates in the Colonial Quad Tower, then later in an apartment in downtown Albany. Karla was a good friend, a brilliant problem solver, and a graceful Tango dancer. She had a unique way of looking at things. She was analytical and practical. She was an excellent planner and organizer.
