Karla M. Monson

Karla M. Monson, 74, of Mt. Bethel, PA, formerly of Lincoln Park, NJ, passed away Tuesday, July 12th, at Easton Hospital, Easton, PA.

Karla was born on January 7, 1942, a daughter of the late Charles and Viola (Bassett) Kolaritsch.

She was employed as a executive assistant at Wyndham Worldwide in Parsippany, NJ, until retiring in 2013. Prior to that, Karla was employed at AT&T in Morristown, NJ. Karla enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Karla is survived by a daughter, Mary Ortega and her husband Herman, a son, Tracy Monson, a brother, Charles Kolaritsch, and 3 grandchildren Tristyn L. Piemontesi, Austin T. Ortega and Evynne M. Ortega.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, July 18th at James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, 314 S. First Street, Bangor, PA with Rev. David Felker officiating. Friends are invited to call 10 - 11 AM on Monday, July 18th at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the East Bangor Cemetery, East Bangor, PA.
