Not sure what to say?

Never forgetting. You were a great teacher. And you continue to live in your works. A great person and a wonderful artist who gives. Good things outlast everything. Thank you so much for taking such care! With all my heart.

I am so very sorry to just of learn of Karlyn Holman’s passing. I just found her on YouTube and fell in love with her.I fell in love with her sweet infectious laugh. Her talent was in abundance and amazing! My condolences are with her family. I know her passing was a few years ago but she will never be forgotten. I am so glad I found her videos and I will continue to refer to her loving talent.❤

I went to the local library the other day to look for a book on watercolours and that was when I discovered a book by Karlyn. I was immediately drawn to the beauty of her representation of flowers. She has left a legacy for many years on in her books. Can't wait to learn from her! Love and sympathy to her family!

I just recently discovered this amazing woman on Youtube...so sad about her passing, knowing what a gifted and generous person she was. Just felt I had to say, she's still teaching today! Thank you for leaving her legacy online!!

This is from down under New Zealand. Have just been going through all three of my art books Karlyn wrote but hadn't been on her website for probably a year as we moved house and town until today and got an awful shock! I never had the pleasure of meeting her, she was a brilliant water-colourist, and did so much for the art community - well, world-wide really! My deepest sympathy for all those who were close to her. Yvonne from Rangiora NZ.

I will never forget Karlyn's class...and still benefit from her teaching and joy.

Karlyn was someone always thinking of others - her family and all the kids, her support staff at her studio, her student painters on her trips. We laughed with karlyn many times over the past 15 years when she would bring painters to Le Vieux Couvent in France, and her infectious energy and openheartedness will not be forgotten by us or her students.

I loved Karlyn; I still do. Although I only knew her through five Florida workshops and a trip to Spain, my face breaks into a smile every time I think of that incredible woman. I admired her artistic genius. I wrote down everything she said because she was so generous with her tidbits. I giggled at her silly antics and just-slightly-off-color jokes. Like a crazed fan after a famous personality, I loved being around her because she up-lifted everyone around her. It was literally a joy...

I was saddened to hear of Karlyns death. She was such an inspiration to me. My first trip to Europe was a painting trip with Karlyn, over 9-11! What bonding that was. Her talent, and humor, were inspiring and infectious. She will be missed. My sympathy to the family.
