Karyn Haney

Our family just learned this afternoon of Karyn's passing. It was a great shock---how could someone with a unique presence powered by great passions, energy and convictions----pass away so young?

I served with Karyn on our condo board. She often amazed me by her ability to listen to others' opinions and modify her own because she had such a gentle heart. She had strong opinions but also uncommon understanding. I will also remember her laugh and her beautiful jewelry.

My prayers and thoughts are with you. Although Karyn is gone she will always be in your heart. No one can take away your love and memories. It's so hard to lose a child. Thank God for the years you enjoyed with her.

I don't cry because I knew Karyn, I cry because she helped me know myself. I met Karyn 30 years ago at C.O.D. Karyn was a sister to me. We fought, cried, laughed and loved one another. I miss you Karyn.

Ms Haney I remember I<br /> was the last pacient she saw before she passed

Ms. Haney was my daughter's special services coordinator/counselor at West Ridge Elementary. Even though I only saw her a couple of times a year, she was always an advocate for my daughter and fought along side other teachers and staff to ensure she always got all the help she needed. I credit much of my daughter's academic success to Ms. Haney's intervention efforts (and that of the West Ridge staff).

My daughter remembers her as a sweet teacher who was kind, made them laugh and...

Mrs Haney was my school conuncller at West Ridge and i knew i her so much now that i heard she passed away i started to cry because she was the best. We will miss you Mrs Haney.

Karyn was very special and will be missed by all that knew her.

My prayers and thoughts are with Karyn's family at this time. Karyn was such an upbeat person and cared so much for children. She will indeed be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She always had a positive attitude and a warm and generous nature. I will miss seeing her on campus.
