Kasandra Michelle Perkins, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away December 1, 2012 at the age of 22. She was born October 14, 1990, in McKinney, Texas, to Darryl Keith Perkins and Rebecca Anne (Thompson) Gonzalez. Kasandra graduated from Anderson High School, class of 2009, in Austin, Texas. She was an instructor with Lone Star Dance Team and taught praise dance in her church. She was a member of the Kansas City Chief Woman's Organization and was involved in after school programs as well as volunteering with other organizations. She is survived by her daughter, Zoey Michelle Belcher; mother, Becky Gonzalez and husband Jose of Fort Worth, Texas; father, Darryl Perkins of Austin, Texas; sister, Angela Moore of Blue Ridge, Texas; brother, Darryl Perkins II (DJ) of Austin, Texas; Grandparents, Frank and Elaine Aikey of Greenville, Texas, Joe Thompson of Michigan and Viola Perkins of Austin, Texas; great-grandmother, Doris Downing of Blue Ridge, Texas; several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
