Kate, the first time you called me in Brazil to invite me to study at ERG, your sweet voice filled my heart with joy, hope and appreciation. Then after I arrived at ERG, you embraced me with your sweetness, you and the girls in the ERG office were like family to me. And that is the way I always think of you. Miss you.

You are missed just as much these four years later....

Although flesh no longer enhabits the earth, your spirit remains forever, Katie girl. You are missed by family and friends alike.

You are remembered every day, but for me there is a certain cycle of intensity when I especially miss you, rising during the busy weeks as we select a new entering class into ERG and again the week we graduate another class out. It is simply not the same without you.
