Not sure what to say?

I met Kate Rose around 25 years ago and for the following two or three years we were friends. She met the love of her life, Kipp, around the time I met mine, Lori. At some point our worlds diverged. I moved to Tacoma, raised a family, and moved to New Mexico. Somewhere in there I lost touch with Kate. Just yesterday I learned that she passed away almost 14 years ago.

In talking about Kate, both Lori and I agreed that she was one of those people with whom we could be friends...

Dear Kipp and Kate,
We cannot see through to the other side but we can sense all of the beauty there. Kate, I miss you, but am joyful that you are in the wondrous beauty which you so appreciated in everything here. You are a source of inspiration and love to me each day, no matter which side of the veil you are on. Kipp, with every daily prayer I have for you, I wish you love, and God's protection and comfort during this time of grief. So glad that we are friends and live close...

My Dear Kate....You were an old warrior to the end. I am so happy that your spirit is now free.
Still lighting candles for you.
Love, Cindy

We will remember the good times we had
together in Puerto Vallarta. Hope to see you at Costa Vida again. Always remember the happy times you and Kate shared together. Our condolences. Love, Wayne and Pat DePry

Kipp, I remember you so warmly from growing up in Vernon and I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you get through this very sad time with the help and support of family and friends.

Dear Kate...Thank you for the light you shone in my life when our paths crossed at JFKU. Deepest sympathies to your family. How fortunate we all have been to have known you.

Kipp,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember when you first met Kate and how you lit up at the mention of her name. Then I met her and saw why.

She was courageous, vibrant and passionate. And she had the most infectious, heartwarming laugh.

May you find peace in the comfort of all who love Kate and you.

Dear Kipp and Kate's family,

I was fortunate to know Kate for several years as she worked to create wonderful lighting for our new homes. Each light was carefully crafted with such care and love, even though I know that Kate was not always feeling well. I always hoped that she would be able to see more of our finished homes..and her lighting in them. Each owner cherishes these special lights...and through them, Kate's spirit shines brightly on the lives of many. I will always...

Kate, An inspiration to us all who knew her, we will miss her, but continue to experience her gifts to us. May you, Kate, come to rest in the boundless and all-inclusive equanimity that is completely free of sorrow.

Blessings to you, Kipp, as you move on through this life.

Love to you both,
Judith
