Kate Neel was a loving and intelligent wife, mother, grandmother, teacher and friend. Over 20 years were dedicated to Mrs. Neel teaching fifth graders at Elberta Elementary School. I loved Mrs. Neel. As a child, she was my neighbor across the street. She always treated me like one of her own children--feeding me, teaching me and encouraging me to be the best person I could be. I will dearly miss Mrs. Kate Neel. She has achieved her heavenly reward- wearing a crown of gold!
