Katelyn Hancock

Hi I was a student of Katelyn´s at LMU. I´m saddened by her loss and I was just wondering about her and how she was doing and looked her up and found her obituary. She was an amazing professor, human being and just the most understanding person alive. She really made me feel less alone. Her APAM class was such a safe space and the way she took it up with her signature lipstick and Docs- I´ll never forget her. I´m sending my love and prayers to your family

Professor Hancock was one of my favorite professors at LMU, and she helped me grow in knowledge and appreciation for my heritage/creative abilities in more than I´ll ever be able to put into words. I know she made so many API students at LMU feel welcomed and embraced, and I know that I will take what I´ve learned from her with me always. I cannot thank her and the family who raised her enough. I am so grateful to have been granted even a bit of her wisdom, and send nothing but love your way.

It was a pleasure to meet Katelyn and a pleasure to care for her. Her sweet spirit and soul is now resting in the warm and loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Katelyn was a light and I feel privileged to have learned from her brilliance. Her interests in her studies were always inspired by her deep love for her family and for where she came from. Sending those who knew and loved her most peace of mind and spirit.
