Not sure what to say?

Thank you for continuing to share Kathy´s story. I know so many people hold your family in our hearts

I was so sad to learn about Kathy Johnson's death. She was one of my favorite cousins.

To Danny and the Johnson family: Thank you for sharing Kathy´s story as part of her obituary. And thank you for doing it again this year. We all need to be reminded how difficult life is for some of us and that those suffering are not alone.

The Skellenger and Johnson families are very prominent in my childhood memories. Living in downtown Penryn, all of us kids playing outside together, going to school and school and community functions and Rainbow Girls together was an idyllic way to grow up. Unfortunately, I moved away from Penryn so I didn't see Kathy much as an adult. It breaks my heart that Kathy's families and community have lost her too early. All the Skellenger and Johnson families are in my thoughts and prayers at this...

Thank you for sharing about Kathaleen's life. I appreciate your courage in telling her story. May you find serenity in the midst of your loss.

Thank you for such a lovely memorial. Taylor's Market is a treasure here in Curtis Park for sure. I only wish I had the opportunity to meet her. Lucy Sullivan Pratt

Danny and family, We were so very sad to learn of Kathy´s passing. Our hearts go out to you as you deal with a terrible loss Your obituary and the Bee article are so very touching in its honesty and your willingness to share not only all her wonderful talents and gifts to the community, but also her struggles with addiction. In telling the full story you are an inspiration to others who share similar problems. Thank you. I think of her and your family every time I enter Taylor´s market....

Thank you for that powerful obituary shedding light on addition and mental illness. I didn't know Kathy but enjoyed her restaurant. You described her as such a compelling woman and it is so hard to understand that addiction can extinguish that light. We all have someone in our lives that have experienced this horrible under the covers disease, thank you for bringing it to the open in such a beautiful way.

Sending my condolences and deep sympathy to Danny and his family. Thank you for sharing your intensely honest, loving, and moving tribute to her. Hoping that you find comfort and peace as you move forward in life and in your efforts to honor Kathy's memory.
