As you well know, Kathy was always so happy to see her grandchildren. We often discussed how the children, with their smiles and hugs always helped us to smile and feel better. Your Mom fought a difficult battle with dignity and grace.
It certainly was a gift to have met her and known her since Espy Road.

Kathy Lucas was a very friendly and truly giving person. She and I had our grandchildren around the same time a granddaughter and then a grandson. Whenever she went shopping she usually remembered my grandbabies too, we grandmothers have to stick together she'd say. She truly loved her grandchildren and always shared their pictures and every new thing that they learned with me. I feel like I know them. I'll miss you kathy, You have a part of my heart.
