My heartfelt condolences to you and to the members of your families on the passing of your Mother. Your parents were very kind to the kids in the neighborhood while we were growing up in Lawnton. I have great memories of the watermelon parties they held for us in your backyard and (later)watching the 8 mm home movies of those events with Kenny in the basement rec. room. Dear Family Members,
Reading Mrs. Lyons' obituary brought back some wonderful memories for me. I was one of the lucky students that traveled with Mrs. "K" and Mrs. "R" to Europe in 1973. It was a once-in-a-lifetime trip - touring the L'Oreal factory in Paris, learning about embroidery in Switzerland, seeing leather luggage made by Gucci in Italy, visiting the Vidal Sassoon salon in London, and sharing endless chatter among the girls. Mrs. K gave much to the girls that got to know her...
