Not sure what to say?

Very sorry for being so late to read about mother and son Jessye. I still have wonderful memories of hearing mother Katherena's singing voice in the little Charleston (SDA) church.

Hey grandma, we made it through Thanks Giving. Three more major holidays and we will have come full circle. It did not feel the same with you not being there. This is the first year that it was at my house. Just about everyone came. The thing I missed most was looking forward to making your food seperate from everyone else's and looking at you asking if you are alright over there.I have some news for you, I got married. You have met him before. He came over with me a couple of times and was...

Grandma in Texas with Uncle Harris n Aunt Gloria

Hey lady, this week we celebrated 100yrs of service in the Charleston area with the memorial being held today 7-15-12. It was very nice and you would have loved it. We planted a tree (which I know you would have loved) we also held a candel lighting service along with a slideshow. Your mother's picture was the first to show and yours was the last. Grandma, this is the first Mother's Day without you. I don't know how your girls are going to handel it but your granddaughter is not handling this well. Remembering you is the easy part, letting go is way to hard. I know you lived a full life and we had you for so long. You were here for my growing up. I had you for 41 yrs and I still wasn't ready for you to go. This is going to be the first of many things that you won't be around for. We will have to stay strong and remember the good times...

Grandma you were the glue that held the family together...i miss you so much...I have to live with the guilt of not seing you before you left...I love u sooo much and miss u

Me and Grandma

Grandma, this is so hard. I didn't think it would be. I find myself waking up and thinking about you with tears in my eyes. I know with time it will get better and the hurt I feel will fade away. I just miss you more and more every day.
