Read MoreMrs. Groggel babysat for me as a child, I was the same age as her daughter Heather, and I would ride the bus home from school with Heather. I remember that she always gave us saltine crackers and we played dress up with poodle skirts that she sewed at home. I always felt cared for and safe around her.

Kathy's love for the Lord was evident in all she did. She was such an asset at Immanuel and I enjoyed working with her in Sunday School and VBS. I know she will be missed by family and friends, but know she is rejoicing to be in heaven.
