To all the Barry Family
Sorry to hear about Kay. Regina e-mailed me to tell of the sad news. We were sorry to loose touch with her so long ago. I remember the great high school days, she was always laughing and we had many hours of fun. I remember her mother and father at Green Harbor and how warm and open they were to everyone. Rest in peace Kay.

So sorry to hear about Katherine. I graduated from St Mary's with her, we had many laughs, spent many hours on the phone. She was a very good friend, somehow much to my regret we lost touch. It's nice to know that she had such a happy life.

Ms. Barry was the first grade teacher for both of my children, Dennis and Matthew. She was a wonderful teacher who genuinely cared for each one her students. She had the right amount of balance between structure and tenderness, to challenge and encourage. She will be sadly missed.

Dear Mary:
I was saddened to hear about Katherine. We used to parade from Porter Square each day to St. Peter's: the Walnut St., Cambridge Ter. brigade only to graduate in 1954. Another classmate, Janice Rigazio, sends her sympathy, also.

Although I only knew Katherine for a short period of time ,I know she was a caring, loving, wonderful women who is going to be missed very much. Katherine and her sister, Mary were both there for me when my grandfather passed away last January and that touched my heart. I wanted to take this time to let Katherine's family know that my prayers are with them in this time of sadness.
