Katherine Bombalski

She was my great grandmother and she died when I was eight years old. I still have her obituary from her funeral.

Granny was always eternally young, very loving and generous and so much fun to be around. I'll always cherish my memories of time spent with her when I was growing up. I send my deepest sympathy, love and prayers to her family of whom I love very much.

Just 2 weeks ago I was talking to my 1st cousin, once removed, Donna Lee River Bombalski, about some River family tree information. She told me about her husband Chris's mother being 106 years old and in great health. And now in that brief time period, Chris's mom is gone. How precious a life is, especially one that has seen and done everything that she had. How much they all must miss her wonderful presence. Rest in peace dear woman, wife, mother, matriarch.
