I had the privilege of working with Kay as a volunteer at SIUH. I never remembered her without a smile on her face or a friendly greeting for everyone. When people were leaving the hospital she would always tell them to have a nice day. She was especially fond of children and always offered them candy. She would go out of her way to help people.
