Not sure what to say?

I never knew Katy. I have only met a few of the people who were close to her. I am awestruck. I wish we could have been friends. I have grown to love a person I have never met, simply because of the immense imprint she has left on those around me.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dotti, I saw you running on Dover Road in Wellesley a few weeks back and hadn't learned of your loss until I received your Christmas card today. I met Katy briefly when she was a spunky student at St. John's...I sure wish I had known her as the amazing woman she became at age 22. In this crazy financial world that we Americans are facing, Kevin's words are even more poignent.....count your blessings.....My love and heartfelt sympathy to you, Kevin and Abby. Your friend, Marilyn

I took an English course with Katie during my senior year at Dartmouth, in 2007. She was a wonderful presence and always arrived to class with a cup of coffee (it was an early class!) and a smile. We became friendly outside of class and she was a welcome presence at the potlucks and parties held at my off-campus house. She will be missed.

I am so very sorry and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
I remember Katy so well as a friend of Kathryn's @NCDS. She was a wonderful, talented young woman. Words can't express the sadness I feel for all of you.

Katy was an extraordinary teammate and I will always remember her contagious energy, enthusiasm and sense of humor. My love and support go out to Katy and her family.

Dear Cullinan Family, We just heard the terrible news of Katy's passing and wanted to extend our heartfelt sympathy. Our daughter Missy spent the early years of grade school with Katy at St John's. We as a family have fond memories of a ski trip we spent with you and the Procknow's in Vermont many years ago. Our prayers are with you at this most difficult time. The McCourts, Hingham, Mass.

Kevin, Dottie, Abby and family. No one can know the depth of sorrow and loss when a daughter dies. We are deeply saddened. You are all in our prayers. Katy is in "eternal happiness". We hope the example of her courageous life and your memories of her will bring some peace to your lives as you grieve. Cynthia and Jay Leader, Beaver Island and Furlong, Pennsylvania.

Dear Dottie, Kevin and family: A tragic death explodes the life lost into our hearts where our sadness is matched by the depth of love holding the loss in some safe interior space. I have only sadness and tears to share.
