Not sure what to say?

Just thinking of you all with the holidays and your mom's birthday being on Christmas Eve. Keeping you close in my thoughts and prayers. May you find some comfort and healing in the love of family and friends that surrounds you today and always.

Katie was a remarkable woman; she touched so many people's lives and hearts. I knew her in med school. Was always in awe of the way she juggled her personal and professional life with such ease and grace. I had my first child during med school, and Katie was a wonderful resource for me when those hundreds of questions arose. She and Tom even let me (and little son) stay with them when I was finishing up a rotation in Milwaukee. She will always have a special place in my heart.

To Kate's Family whom I never got a chance to meet, I'm deeply saddened by the news and you're in my thoughts and prayers... To my Best Friend Brian and his siblings Matt, Kristen, Danny, Sam, Jane and Jacob, your Mom was such an amazing woman and she will be sadly missed but never forgotten. For a period of time growing up the Dillig household was my second home and it was to so many people, all of your friends will attest to that. I always admired Mama Dillig, she not only worked around the...

Dear Sammie, Jane, Jacob and the rest of the Dillig family: I am deeply saddened to hear of your mothers passing. Although I did not know her well I knew and witnessed first hand how much she loved you all. She was an amazing mother. I believe her generosity and her caring spirit will live on in all of you. You and your family are always in my prayers but even more so during these sad times.

My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. I worked with DR. Dillig at ST Luke's ER and it always put a smile on my face when I saw her walk through the doors to start her shift. I knew without a doubt before the night was done, she'd have taught me one of many invaluable lesson. Be it about taking care of something in my life or saving another's, I knew Katie was always there. May you be comforted in knowing how deeply she touched the hearts of so many in this community. With...

Tom, I am so sorry and deeply saddened to hear of your wife, Katie's, sudden passing. My thoughts are with you and I give you my deepest sympathy.

I have been a patient in the St. Luke's ER a number of times and Dr. Dillig was always such a calm and wonderful doctor to have treating me. My sympathies go out to your family - know that your Mom/wife/friend really left a positive impact on those she met.

Dear Matt

Dear Matt , Brian and family,

I read with great sadness of the loss of your mother. She seemed like an incredible woman who defied her situation.
What an example to her family, friends and patients.

May you find the comfort of those loved ones to help you through the days ahed.

And may your mother, Katherine's memory be a blessing.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
