Cartmell - Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home - Downtown Obituary

Katherine A. “Katy” (Aucello) Goyette, age 45, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018. She was the devoted wife of Michael Leo Goyette of Kingston, MA. Born in Boston, MA on August 7th, 1972, Katy was the beloved daughter of John and Ann (Clark) Aucello. She was educated at Arlington High School, Class of 1990, as well as a graduate of Bryant University, Class of 1994 where she received her Bachelors of Science in Marketing. For many years Katy worked as a Sales & Design Manager for her family business, Malden International Design. Six years ago Katy and her husband Michael moved their family to Kingston, previously residing in Halifax, MA. Katy loved the beach, the lake, and the mountains. She spent much of her time cheering on the small but fierce hockey players in her life and snuggling her dogs and her family. Katy loved reading, a good game of trivial pursuit, and Friends (the TV show). Katy was quick to laugh and found amusement in everything. Katy's interests were varied, but always centered around her family and friends. Besides leaving her husband and parents, Katy was the loving mother of her children Johanna Goyette, and triplets Nora, Luke and Jake Goyette. She was the beloved sister of Meg Aucello of Brighton, MA and cherished sister-in-law of Lisa Hill and her husband William, Michelle McGrath and her husband Donnie and Robert Goyette, Jr and his wife Christina. Katy is also survived by her father in law and mother in law Robert and Ann (Montimurio) Goyette ,many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are welcome to visiting hours in St. Mary’s Church, 313 Court St., Plymouth on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will take place in St. Mary’s Church on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Plymouth. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

We are so sad to hear of Katy's passing. Our deepest and most sincere thoughts and prayers are with the Goyette and Aucello Families. She was a warrior and will always be a light to her children.
