I was sorry to learn of Katherine Henricis recent passing; my deepest condolences to her many family and friends. While I never met Katherine personally, I enjoyed many phone conversations with her in recent years on that late, great Chicago institution, Henricis Restaurant and her ancestor Philip Henrici who started it in the late 1860s, a few years before the Chicago Fire!
