Katherine MacGregor played the mean gossipy Harriet Oleson on the popular television series "Little House on the Prairie." MacGregor's character Harriet and her daughter Nellie were the nemesis of the Ingalls family. MacGregor played the character for the full run of the show from 1974 until 1983. Oh! Ms. Katherine. You gave us "Mrs. Oleson". We hated her but loved her so much at the same time. It takes great talent to achieve that. Thank you for the good childhood memories. We will miss you dearly.

As mean as her character was on "Little House" I loved her! She brought a lot of color to the show along with Nelly. Rest in peace Katherine!
