May she Rest In Peace

My deepest condolences to the McEnroe family. I met John McEnroe Jr., my idol growing up. I loved watching John play. Kay´s maiden name was Tresham and my last name is Gresham which is pretty unique to me. I have also met Patrick McEnroe who was so unbelievably friendly and easy to talk to. John was very nice to me as well. I have always loved watching the McEnroe family because they seemed to be a very close tight knitted and loving family. Mom always supported her boys in their endeavors...

A wonderful , devoted mother and wife that gave 100% to her family. I admired her for her unselfishness. A wonderful friend....never forgetting her faith in God....

I worked with Kay in the OR at Lenox Hill for a while'When her roomates got married she was without an apartment. So my roomates and I invited her to stay with us. She did for a short while and then took a trip to Wiesbaden where she married John.Didn't see her again for several years and then it was at a LHH reunion. She was a great person and so funny.Sorry she passed away. Didn't learn of it until today.

I met Kaye at Mission Hills CC in 1978. While it was always clear that John Sr. Had Johnny Mac's back, Kaye was clearly the force behind Mac's relentless pursuit of perfection. She was both warm and charming.

The Gherardi Family will always remember The McEnroe Family and wish them well during this sorrowful time

We'll miss you Kaye. Wish you didn't have to leave us so soon.
We would have had some good girl time fun together in Southampton. RIP Kaye.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. McEnroe when I was child growing up around the corner from John and his family. I remember her as a kind and caring person. A number of years later when I was a teenager she was coincidentally the nurse in the operating room when I had knee surgery at Deepdale Hospital in Little Neck. I remember how nice it was to see her friendly and familiar face. May she rest in peace. My sincere condolences to the entire family.
