Katherine "Kitty" O'Connor Mahopac - Katherine "Kitty" O'Connor, a nearly 60-year Mahopac resident, Putnam County Democratic leader and longtime BOCES nursing instructor, died Jan. 20 at her home on Lake Mahopac. She was 88. Katherine moved to Mahopac in 1963, where she raised her five children....

I will never forget this kind lady. After both my children were born she made a house call to make sure I was following all her instructions. 1963 and 1964. Still remember to this day all the things she told me. I was 21 at the time. Twinkie Castegner Sammann Florida
