The Dowdy family of St. Francis-by-the-Lake Episcopal Church worked closely with Katie in her wonderful ministry there. She was tireless and positive about the church and its potential for growth. She demonstrated a pioneering spirit and zeal for joy, Christ's love reserved for all, and above all, grace and elegance with good humor. We will miss her and always remember her. Gene Dowdy
