Katherine Irene Romines

Romines, Katherine Irene--age 79 of Knoxville, died 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2003, at home. She was a charter member of Rocky Hill United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by: husband, Arlie James Romines Jr.; parents, George and Ruth Courtney Sr.; brother, George “Sonny” Courtney, Jr.

Survivors: daughter, Charlene Romines of Loudon; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Terry Haynes of Knoxville, Bonnie and Glen Chesney of Strawberry Plains; sons and daughter-in-laws, Jerry and Starr Romines of Knoxville, Joey and Mary Romines of Knoxville, James and Lisa Romines of Knoxville; son, Glen Romines; and friend, B.J. Jones of Knoxville; grandchildren, Holly Chilman, Raleigh, N.C., Lori Fisher of Lenior City, Phillip Doyle, Darlene Fisher, Debbie Taylor, Donnie Fisher, Lisa Brooks, Leslie Edds, Angie Brewer, Beverly and J.R. Biggs, Krystle Chesney, Brandi Jo, Bradley, J.T., Michael, Haylee, Brittney, Brandon, Brian Romines, all of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Nicholas Chilman, Tyler and Andrew Fisher, Jessica Taylor, Jennifer Fisher, Tessa and Russell Brown, Chandler Brooks, Tiffany and Matthew Luster, Bethani and Lindsay Fisher, Kelsey Howey; great-great-grandchildren, Gage Pinion, Katelin Hall, Alexis Luster, Hunter Brown, Adara Biggs.

Funeral service 12:00 p.m. noon on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at Stevens Chapel. Rev. Dan Baird officiating. Interment will follow at National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8 :00 p.m.Tuesday at Stevens Mortuary Oglewood Ave. at Broadway.
