Doyle resident Katherine Ann Rutledge was tragically taken from us Saturday evening October 19, 2013 at her residence. Born September 12, 1964 in Lovelock, Nevada to James and Relda (Jenkins) Martolin, Kathi was raised in Lovelock where she is a 1982 graduate of Pershing County High School. Kathi along with her sister was active with the local 4H's horse program. She went on to attend University of Nevada Reno. Kathi later moved to Casper, Wyoming where she was employed as a Sheriff's Dispatcher residing there until 2005 when she relocated to Lassen County where she could be closer to her family. Here she worked for Northeastern Rural Health until the closing of their Doyle Clinic at which time she took up employment at the Sierra Army Depot where she was currently working as a material handler. Kathi had a great love of horses, enjoyed horseback riding, was an accomplished artist who enjoyed both painting and drawing and had a passion for hard work. She had attended Honey Lake Valley Assembly of God while residing in Doyle. In passing Kathi leaves her mother; Relda Thompson of Gold Beach, Oregon, son: Cody Rutledge of Redmond, Oregon, brother: Michael Martolin and his wife Tracy of Silver Springs, NV and sister; Susan Hansen and her husband David of Doyle, CA.
