Katherine M. "Kay" Smit (nee Hadju), 72, beloved wife of the late Menno "Mike," has died. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, October 17, 2000, 3-9 p.m., at Colonial Chapel, 15525 South 73rd Avenue (155th Street/Wheeler Drive at Harlem Avenue), Orland Park, Illinois. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 18, at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Calvary Reformed Church of Orland Park, 15101 South 80th Avenue, Orland Park, IL 60462 or the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 910 West Van Buren Street, Floor 4, Chicago, IL 60607.
