Katherine Stark

Katherine was one of the first residents I met when I came to work at Messiah. She could be so much fun at activities loving anything that concerned dance. We had a special American Bandstand day in the Donegal neighborhood this summer in which the residents made me do a silly dance. When I returned Katherine to her room at the end of the day she whispered to me, "I never knew you were so naughty. Does your Bishop know?' Then she winked and said, "Well, he does now." I will miss her so much....

Katherine was like my Great Grandmother. Caring for her in her final years was something so special to both of us. She will forever hold a huge piece of my heart. God bless you Katherine you are finally home. I love you and miss you dearly!

Katherine was a gracious and kind lady. We would often talk about her angel collection that was in her room at Messiah. We would take her to Sunday services at the chapel. She intrigued us with her wit and kindness. We will miss her dearly. She is now with THE angels. God bless her and her family.
