Katherine Stark

Loved & not forgotten. At the Union church in Enfield, NH, Katherine is remembered with love, and still mentioned in conversations. For example, on Wednesday, 3/19/25, an unusually early spring thaw allowed a picture to be taken of a small garden, in front of our church. There are tiny shoots visible of a tulip arrangement that had been with Katherine in hospice! Her memory lives on in our hearts, as well as in God's creation!!

Last year, on Christmas Day, we shared the day with Katherine. She appreciated seeing the real candles on our Christmas tree. We also reminisced t o the first time she visited here. We had eaten dinner outside (summer). A wind accompanied by black clouds moved in abruptly. We scurried to clean up, and race inside just as huge raindrops pelted us. We sat, chatting, on our enclosed porch, watching tree branches swaying & twisting in the gusty winds. In the midst of roaring thunder, we heard...

Katherine was a generous and loving woman who took care of my dog once and didn't even ask for any compensation. She had a heart for animals as well as humans.
