Not sure what to say?

Kitty gave so much of goodness and value to us, and leaves behind lasting contributions to the strengths and well-being of our community. I will always remember her brilliant smile and upbeat greetings.

Our family is so saddened to hear of Kitty's passing. She has been an inspiration and role model to all of us --from the wonderful care she gave her mother Martha at the Colonnades for so many years--to her unwaivering commitment to the Book Buddies program at Greenbrier for more than a decade. She was such a warm and giving woman. Our thoughts are with you.

We are praying for all of you during this terrible loss. Memories of Kitty will keep her spirit alive. The love and joy she shared with so many others will reach people she never met during her life here. She will be greatly missed.

My daughter had Ms. Kitty as a book buddy at Greenbrier Elementary. She said the thing she loved most about Ms. Kitty is that she hugged her everytime she went back to class. What a wonderful gift Ms. Kitty gave to my daughter, we will miss her terribly. Amy and Hannah Laufer

Margaret, I am so sorry to hear that your Mom passed away. I pray that the lord grants you and your family comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Bob, Rob, and Margaret, I am very sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you.

I was so sorry to read of Kitty's passing. She was always a joy to hear from on one of the many pressing issues of the day. She would always express herself clearly with that bright smile of hers, and it made all of my encounters with very enjoyable. She will be missed for all she has given to our community- and for that smile.

May you all find peace knowing what a wonderful person Mrs. Stroud was and how many lives she touched. Margaret, you must take a lot after your mother.
God's peace.
