Katherine Janet TAIT

I just learned of Katherine's passing. I send my heart-felt condolences to all, as well as fond memories of "Kathy" (as my late sister introduced her to me) and me solving all the world's problems while at Carleton U. in the early 70s. Another bright light gone too soon!

Eva, I was so sorry to hear about your mother. She was such a dynamic person, I'd just assumed she would live to a fine old age! -- as she deserved to. My heart goes out to you and the family.

I remember Katherine fondly in her early coming out days in Toronto. She was courted by all while demurely not noticing. It was a treat to know Katherine and I'm so sorry for her and for her family.

Dieter and I are so very sorry for your loss. Katherine was someone I wish I had more time to know and I always enjoyed seeing her at Violette and Paul's paella parties. Her warmth and intelligence were always in evidence and the love you had for each other was a joy to see.
