Katherine L. Verenna, 60 of Forks Twp., passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born on October 21, 1959 in Summit, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Richard J. Bederski and Barbara O. (Olson) Verenna. Katherine and her husband, Carmen, celebrated 26 years of marriage together. She was employed as a certified medical assistant/phlebotomist with numerous healthcare facilities for many years. She also worked for AT&T and an administrative assistant and the Warren County Public Defenders Office as a secretary. Katherine was of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed photography, dancing and visiting the beach with family and friends.


Survivors: In addition to her husband, Katherine is survived by her daughter, Shannon Cahill and husband, Travis Laubach; grandson, Parker Laubach; stepson, Tom Verenna and wife, Kateri; and sister, Cynthia and husband, Bill Dickerson.


Services: Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.


Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Center for Animal Health and Welfare, 1165 Island Park Rd., Easton, PA 18042 in loving memory of Katherine. Online condolences may be offered above.
