Not sure what to say?

Kathy Barber was a great and inspiring leader and teacher, and I'll always be grateful for her advice and support. Her early support at the start of my career in public office was invaluable. My deepest condolences to the wonderful Barber family.

An inspiring friend, associate and collaborator on the trail of a better environment and a sounder future, Kathy led more than one generation by her leadership and example. Art Brooks

I was so sorry to hear and read about the passing of your mother. I know you were close and the last years have been difficult. I wish her peace. I wish you well. carol

Dr. Barber inspired and motivated me during my freshman year at JCU where She challenged me to use my brain and pay close attention to my inner voice. In time, I came to learn of Kathleen's many accomplishments outside the classroom; this area and it's institutions are much richer due in part to her active involvement.
My deepest sympathies to her family. Notwithstanding her active civic imprint, family was paramount and she loved you fiercely. Thank you for sharing your treasure with us....

Dr. Barber was my advisor at JCU 1975-77 and I remember her fondly as a great educator, mentor, and role model. She encouraged me in my graduate school decision and I've not forgotten her calm reasoning and decision-making skills. My sympathies to her family.

May you have peace and comfort during this difficult time. Isa 40:28-31

May the love of family and friends help you to cope during this difficult time of sorrow. May the God of comfort give you strength in the days ahead.

I send my sincerest condolence to each of you. I loved growing up right across the street from all of you on Ingleside Road. Mrs. Barber was so genuinely kind and now she is truly an angel.

Dr. Barber was a visionary and role model for many women at JCU. Always a delight when joining us for a City Club Friday Forum. Many fond memories.
