KATHLEEN M. BASILE

Kathi had the most beautiful eyes and silky, shiny hair. I never could figure out how she got her hair to be so shiny! I hope I told her these things. I think I learned so much from her that had nothing to do with my job. She impressed me like a big sister. To this day I pronounce the word envelope (onvelope) the way she did, with a certain sophistication I admired. It may be silly, I don´t know but for me there was an impact just by being Kathleen.

Kathi was such a wonderful person. Strong, warm-hearted and full of joy, she was a force of life wherever she went. KMO (as we called her) was the reason I entered advertising and I'll be forever grateful for her mentorship and friendship during the years we shared at the agency. The world has grown dimmer with her passing. My heartfelt sympathies to her friends and family.

Kathy hired me at the agency in Kalamazoo and I worked for her for 10 years. I always looked up to her. Even now I occasionally hear her humorous rally cry as she announced herself entering our department! A bright and shining presence for sure! RIP Kath! THANKYOU for taking a chance on me.

KMO was an absolutely terrific person with a huge heart. She was a big reason why LBA was a great place to work. She earned the highest respect of everyone who worked with her from Kalamazoo to Norfolk.
