Ed, Holly, and Eric, Five years. How time warps to make us think the event is now just a memory, and yet pain like missing a wife/mother takes so long to heal. So shocked to just learn today of Kathy's passing. I will always carry the Blum family in my heart from the years we were neighbors in CT and I was Eric and Holly's regular babysitter. I'll always remember the week I spent in the Blum home in 1980, and taking Eric to the Winter Olympics. We had such fun and Ed and Kathy were such wonderful hosts. My two daughters were patients at University Pediatrics from the time they were infants in the early 70's through high school. I remember Kathleen always helpful and with a smile on her face. My sincere sympathies go out to her family, such a tragic loss in such a positive, vivacious, and far too young individual. May your wonderful memories ease your pain.

Kathy was kind, funny, open and always looked so beautiful and put together. In the short time that I worked with her at UPed's, I was lucky enough to share some laughs and good conversation with her. She was a wonderful lady, and will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers go to her husband, children and loved ones.

We are very sad to hear of Kathy's passing. We will miss her visits to Ogunquit, Maine. Our sympathy and condolences go to Ed and family at this time of loss. Our prayers are with you.
