Mrs. Kathleen (Hulsey) Booth

Mrs. Kathleen H. Booth, age 86, of Gilbertsville, KY, died Friday, September 16, 2011, at 10:20 a.m. at the Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY. Born April 14, 1925 in Chicago, IL., she retired as the Director of Housekeeping at the Kentucky Dam State Park in Gilbertsville, KY.,was a Kentucky Colonel and past president of the Business and Professional Womens Foundation (BPW of Marshall Co.). She was a member of the Benton First United Methodist Church, Benton, KY. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Hulsey and the late Amelia (Baker) Hulsey. She is survived by one daughter, Rhodanne Abbott of Lake Mason, AZ., five sons, Jim Wallace and wife Pam of Gilbertsville, KY., David Wallace and wife Angela of Crete, IL., Bill Booth and wife Christine of Clarksville, TN., Ken Booth and wife Carolyn of Murfreesboro, TN., Bruce Booth and wife Deirdre of Anchorage, AK., and sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. One brother, Theron Hulsey of Mokena, IL also survives. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Booth, one sister, Lucille Hulsey, three brothers; Dooley Hulsey, Rudy Hulsey and Pete Hulsey. Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Marshall County Memory Gardens. Rev. David Atkinson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2011 until the graveside hour at 2:00 p.m. at the Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY.
