Dear Boylan Family. I was fortunate to be friends with and classmates of many of Kay´s children. Myself and my siblings share many fond memories with the Boylan family. May you find peace in knowing Kay was an amazing person, nurse, neighbor and friend. Peace to all.

In my lifetime I have been fortunate to do nursing in the old days. Snack at 9pm, bed remade and a back rub. The other is all the nurses I have worked with over 40+ years. One of those was Katie Boylan a St Alexis Grad. And the matriarch of a loving Irish Family. She was head nurse in our PACU and retired to the love of her family. Kay was a true nurse. She always had a smile. She welcomed me,as a float nurse with generosity. She lit up 2Central when she was on. May God hold her and hers in the palms of his hands as they traverse this difficult step. Know she will meet you at heaven's gates when your turn comes around. RIP KAY. You earned it.
