Kathleen Chetwynd, 50, of Bridgewater, N.J., died suddenly due to an industrial accident on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014. Funeral will be from the Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave., Scotch Plains, N.J. 07076, on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Westfield, N.J. at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Kathleen was born in Plainfield, N.J. She was raised and lived in Scotch Plains, N.J., before settling in Bridgewater in 1986. Kathleen drove a tractor-trailer for Toys-R-Us. In 2006 she became owner and operator of Kat-Z Transport Co. Kathleen loved animals and rescued many. She would try to find homes for the animals she rescued, whether it was with a friend or family. Kathleen was predeceased by her mother. Marguerite and her two brothers, Joseph and Thomas. She is survived by son, Peter J.; her husband, Frederick E.; her father, William W.; her sister, Mary A.; her sister-in-law, Susanne; her niece, Kirsten; her nephew, James and many cousins and friends.
