Kathleen M. Curcio, 81, of West Bangor, passed away, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus.  She was the husband of Thomas M. Curcio, together they celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary, September 7, 2024.  


Born in Pen Argyl, December 29, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Kathryn (Williams) Broad. 


Kathy was a 1961 graduate of Pen Argyl High School.  She was employed for 25 years as a dental assistant for Turtzo Dental, Pen Argyl.  Prior to that she was employed in the office of the former Valerie Fashions, Wind Gap. 


She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, Pen Argyl and the former St. Rochs Catholic Church, West Bangor.  She was a founding member of the “Swing at the Stand”, held annually at Weona Park, Pen Argyl. 


In addition to her husband Thomas, she is survived by two daughters, Lori L. Young and her husband Robby of West Bangor, and Sheila M. Schriner and her husband Brian of Pen Argyl, four grandchildren, Domenic Curcio and his wife Sarah, DeLeila Schriner, Jay Young and his wife Chelsea and Tommy Young and his wife Sara, four great grandchildren, Luke, Domenic and Charlotte Curcio and Archer Young, a sister Mary Mack and her husband Robert of Plainfield Township, and many nieces and nephews. 


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Corienne McClennen. 


Funeral services will be held, Monday, June 2, 2025 at 11 AM, at the Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl.  There will be a visitation, Monday beginning at 10 AM until time of services at the funeral home.  Services will concluded with burial at St. Roch’s Cemetery, West Bangor.
