Not sure what to say?

I learned of Katie's passing last night. Shocked would be a considerable understatement. Katie was a new attending at Hershey when I was a resident (94-97). Katie was an awesome teacher, a wonderful person, and a fine physician. So very sorry to learn of her passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

My heart and prayers go out to Katie and her family. I spent four years of homeroom, various other classes and some wonderful times with Katie. I was smiling reading all the comments folks had written about Katie - it is nice to hear she was the same sweet, caring person she was at St. John the Baptist. It is very nice to see that she was greatly loved.

I went to Fordham with Katie and I just found out about her passing. I will always remember her warm smile, her gentle sense of humor and her unfailing kindness. My love and condolences to her family and friends.

She was a wonderful teacher and kind lady. She will be missed.

Always helping with a smile. Always thoughtful and kind hearted. Always teaching in a way that helped others learn and become better doctors. She will be missed by everyone.

Forever in our hearts. Katie was always genuine and kind hearted. A beautiful soul and always cared for others first. She will be greatly missed.

My childhood pal, sweet memories of Katie... Ice skating at Marjorie Post Park, playing hopscotch in the blacktop playground of St. Martins, swimming in the Sound out in Southhold and watching you practice piano in your family home. You will always be in heart, my only regret not keeping in touch. May you always be a sweet song in your sons' hearts. May God's Grace be with your family at this difficult time. Rest in peace beautiful Katie!

I am very sorry for your loss. I recognized Katie's photo in Newsday. She looks the same as she did in high school at SJB. I have been reading all the nice comments about her. God bless her and you.

Dr. Donahue 's skilled care and warm smile will be greatly missed at our Med Center. With Sympathy, Lugene McCormick
