Not sure what to say?

Kathleen Fallon was truly a wonderful person, and memories of her are a treasure! Kathleen's musical talents with both the Chica Marimbas and MOTHERLODE were awesome!! Her winning smile and special spirit brightened life for all who knew her ... and she left us too soon!

I first met Kathleen Fallon and all of Motherlode through my Mother, Betty McFarlane who was truly their number one fan. I used to play their music for my son when he was growing up, and I loved the way that every one seemed to be in love with Music and with a world where Women are strong and Free to be themselves , composing music and creating safe places for other women to learn and grow and most of all have a whole lot of fun doing it. I miss Kathleen and my Mom and hope they are playing...

Kathleen and Motherload brought so much joy to my life. I have been listening to their music since I was a small child in the 80's. Kathleen was so vibrant and talented. I am deeply grateful that she shared her gifts with the world. My heart aches for Ellen and her family.

Although I had not been in contact with Kathleen her kindness and creativity was ever so illuminating. She had an expansiveness that was present to all. May her journey bring her continues peace.

What a gift to have known and worked with Kathleen. She was so kind and so genuine. I miss her very much. Ellen I know your heart is aching and has an earthquake of emotions. I know you miss her so much. May wonderful memories bring light to your dayThinking of you, Natalie M

Fly high, Kathleen. You were a bright, bright light.

Kathleen was such a generous spirit! I'm grateful for all the Motherlode recordings where her wisdom, poetry, voice, and musicianship live on. Her enthusiasm and encouragement graced so many of us at NW Women's Music Celebration over the decades. She had a contagious laugh and carried her sense of humor close to the surface, with her brilliant smile always at the ready. Holding all of you who loved her closest in the light, especially those I've known: Ellen, Nan, Marie, Janet, and...

My heartfelt sympathies to you Ellen. I know you have been dreading this for many years, but it's never real until it is. I'll join the many others who will miss this talented and beautiful woman. From doing chores, admiring her creativity with ceramics, as a talented musician ( driving truck picking up hay bales). Many years of memories with someone gone too soon , but not forgotten.

In the place where my soul rests, I lay me down by lilacs' breath. With the earth to hold me, the sky to enfold me- I take my rest. composed by Chris Hennel
