My wife and I were driving on 17 mile drive near Carmel when I tried to find the house house where Kathy grew up. Kathy and I met when she was living in a very swanky girl's boarding house and I was a student working as a "hasher", serving the girls dinner and washing dishes. We became fast friends and she invited me down to Carmel on Christmas break. Her mother, sister and brother in law were so gracious in making me feel like a member of the family. I was sorry to learn of Kathleen's untimely passing. As brokers, we are competitive in the neighborhoods of our Emerald City but, at the end of the day, we are all part of Seattle's real estate family. Sadly, that family has been diminished. Adieu, Kathleen.

A hole has been made in all our lives with Kathleen's passing. I first met her in a real estate transaction and she has served me and my children in several other transactions over the years. But more that a business acquaintance, she was a very dear friend and we shared many good times at the theatre and dinner parties with her and Philip. I love her and miss her. You'll always be number one on my list.

I as saddened to hear of Kathleens passing. She was a friend and also helped me buy the condo where I still reside in 1995. Her housewarming gift, a garden hedgehog, still sits on the patio entrance always a reminder of her. She was classy, fun, smart and a welding presence. She will be missed.
