When I saw Kathy´s smiling photo in her obituary, I just couldn´t place why she looked so familiar, and then I realized she used to stop into a local retail store where I worked every now and then. She was one of those people who made someone´s day a little bit brighter when she crossed paths with you. It could be a light hearted joke about the New England weather, or something like that. Heartbroken to hear of this. Popping into Kathy's office was always a treat; greeted with a smile and a classic Kathy story. Really enjoyed working with her, wonderful colleague and friend. God bless her loved ones

Years ago, when I was a new employee at GCC, and over the years as I served on search committees, Kathy was so helpful. I could walk into her office and ask a question or get a quick reply to an email. Here at GCC, we're thinking of her and her family.
