Kathleen Galan (nee McVey) Age 76, passed away Saturday, April 03, 2010 at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. Late of Bolingbrook formerly of Downers Grove. Loving mother of Michael (Pam) Galan, Mercedes (James) McVey, Kenneth (Laurie) Galan and Keith (Amy) Galan. Beloved wife of Edward Galan. Dear sister of James (Betty) McVey, Margaret (Al) Prohaska and George (Kathy) McVey. Fond sister-in-law of Judy (the late Arthur) McVey. Cherished grandmother of 13, great-grandmother of six. Aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Kathleen McVey. A memorial visitation will take place Wednesday, April 7, 2010 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. At the Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Drive in Romeoville with a memorial service to begin at 3:00 pm. Services conclude at the funeral home, cremation rites will be accorded.
